Day One at work in Stockton, California- solar eclipse, anyone? Check!
So, my first day of orientation in Stockton is the day of this crazy Solar Eclipse. You, know? The one where everyone is supposed to be racing towards my home- Charleston, SC to view it? And I’m in orientation!
Orientation starts out smoothly. I like the sound of this hospital. Plus, it’s my first not for profit hospital and it was started by Nuns. This is my first orientation where I have heard the name of Jesus coming from the mouth of an administrator during work hours. And this is California (no offense)!
Guess what? They let us out of orientation to go watch the solar eclipse. I used my phone to see it so I wouldn’t blind myself by looking at it. Guess what I saw. Nothing! Ha. But here is my picture of nothing.
Actually, it’s not nothing. It’s a picture of me and the sun. Oh, well! Maybe next time!
