Today we revisited Skyline Regional Park to get in some hiking and enjoy this beautiful Arizona Winter. Note the short sleeves in the pictures!
I am really enjoying this Arizona hiking! It seems everywhere I look there is something really interesting to look at. The beauty is so amazing. It is so very different from home. There are all kinds of different cacti as far as the eye can see. The landscape is made up of sand, dirt and rock. The rocks are so many different sizes, shapes and colors. I find myself distracted from the actual hike because I can’t help pulling out my phone and taking tons of pictures.
I think I could really get used to this Arizona winter. The sky is clear and so blue- because there are no huge trees hiding the view you feel as if you can see for miles. It definitely gives meaning to the term ‘wide open’. With this being the desert, it warms up to 60-70+ degrees during the day and drops by 30 degrees overnight.
